Setup a Cron Job
- Log in to your Bluehost cPanel account.
- Under the Advanced section, click the Cron Jobs icon.
- Make sure the current email address is valid. enter a new email and click the Update Email button.
- Set the frequency of your Cron Job by using the drop-down box by each setting or use the Common Settings to choose from a list of regularly used intervals. Common Settings include every minute to once a year.
- Enter in the desired Command and click the Add New Cron Job button.
You have just created a Cron Job to execute a file at a certain time and date with the desired repetition.
Remove or Edit a Cron Job
- Log in to your Bluehost cPanel account.
- Under the Advanced section, click the Cron Jobs icon.
- Scroll down to the last section called Current Cron Jobs.
- Find the correct Cron Job and click either Edit or Delete under Actions.
Note: The edit panel has fewer common settings to choose from, so if you are having trouble getting the correct interval, copy the command, delete the Cron Job, and then recreate it using the Add New Cron Job section.
